The FermZilla 55L Conical Uni-Tank Fermenter is a revolution in home brewing. It gives both the Home Brewers and small Micro-Breweries many of the benefits of a more expensive Stainless Steel Conical Fermenter for a cost effective price. With the additional benefit of being able to see the fermentation process in action and also ferment at pressures up to 2.4bar, this would be the wise choice.
Uni-Tank Conversion:
Uni-Tanks are Conical Fermenters used for both fermentation, carbonating and serving finished products.
Simply add the optional FermZilla Plastic Pressure Kit to the FermZilla 55L Conical Fermenter and turn the FermZilla into a true Uni-Tank. This extremely inexpensive upgrade will truly show what the FermZilla 55L was designed for. These units were designed for use with CO².

Instruction for Use:
When using this vessel under pressure, a water pressure check must be performed to ensure connections are leak proof.
Fill the FermZilla 55L Conical Fermenter up with water.
Apply a minimum of 15psi pressure to the vessel.
Check for leaks around all Caps and Threads.
PLEASE NOTE:
***Collection container lid is not pressure rated***
Please read the instructions thoroughly before use.
We will not be held liable for the misuse or mishandling of the unit contrary to the instructions.
ALL PET FERMENTERS MUST BE KEPT OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT.
EXPOSURE TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT WILL DEGRADE THE UNIT.
Occasionally these units may come with some small indentations, dimples and or dents from shipping. This is just a reality of shipping large blow-moulded thin-walled vessels. But there is no need to panic, these Fermenters are designed to endure minor deformations such as this. This was a necessary implementation into the design so that they can withstand some accidental suction from cold crashing and rough handling in transit without compromising their integrity and ability to endure high pressures. All small dents will push out and settle with use with positive pressure and are only an issue and warrant replacement in the rare event they start to show white stress patterns or have damaged the integrity of the plastic.
Additional Information:
The easiest way to clean the Dump Valve Seal on the FermZilla 55L Conical Uni-Tank Fermenter is to soak the valve in cleaning solution for approximately 5 minutes and then use a high pressure hose to squirt around the seal, releasing any residual hop build-up.
